There are two kinds of quizzing

1 Pen and Paper

You need to organise the teams and make up the questions then present the quiz.  You need to mark the quiz and give out the answers

There can disputes about the answers that you need to resolve

You can get the teams to mark each others papers

2 Speedquizzing

You need a one time purchase of the modem etc

You need to buy each quiz (currently £30 a quiz - cheaper if you buy in bulk)

You need to explain what to do (some presenters use laminated instruction cards)

No preparation is required

Speed is about the lack of marking etc as the software does all the mechanics of the quiz and there is no dispute, the quizmaster ties it all together and announces the questions

 

A good quizmaster makes either type of quiz fun  

A sound system will be normally required, so include in your hire fee however if you require a TV then these are available from Disco UK
